Stellar Senior Living is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing for its large senior living community in Colorado Springs, CO. The role will lead a 50+ clinical staff serving 80+ residents, driving quality care and efficient operations.

The position includes competitive compensation of $93,000–$110,000 per year, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for advancement in a growing company while maintaining a focus on resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, geriatric nursing or dementia care.
• Demonstrated budgeting and cost control abilities.
• Knowledge of service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Strong teamwork, leadership, and resident responsiveness.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the nursing department.
• Hire, train, and develop staff with your leadership team.
• Assess resident needs with direct input from residents and document status in the care system.
• Oversee aides and nurses; delegate duties to unlicensed personnel as needed.
• Perform other leadership duties as required.

Job Description

The AssistantDirector of Nursing is responsible for support of all operation of the nursing department. This includes leadership, training, and oversight of 50+ clinical staff who provide care services to 80+ long-term and short-term residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of our clinical department
• Hiring, training, and development of staff in conjunction with your leadership team
• Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services to accurately assess, communicate and document resident status on electronic care system
• Oversight of aides and nurses and other care staff. delegation of nurse duties to unlicensed personnel as needed
• Other leadership duties as needed

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State.
• Experience in skilled nursing, Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care
• Demonstrated ability in budgeting and cost control
• Knowledge of how to develop and utilize service plans, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures
• Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents
• Love for seniors!
