Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Marana, Arizona seeks a Licensed RN or LPN to lead the Health and Wellness department in a large senior living community, overseeing assisted living and memory care services. The Director will hire and develop the care team, coordinate with management, and document resident status to ensure high-quality care.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting ability, and expertise in medication management and infection control to maintain safe, person-centered care for

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Experience in Assisted Living, Geriatric Nursing or Gerontology and/or Dementia Care.
• Demonstrated budgeting and cost-control abilities.
• Knowledge of service plan development, medication management systems, infection control practices and safety procedures.
• Skills in promoting teamwork, leadership, team member empowerment, and responsiveness to residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and responsibility for daily operations of the assisted living and memory care departments.
• Hiring, training, and development of care team.
• Provide leadership and direction to management team including Memory Care Director, Care Coordinator, and Certified Caregivers.
• Work directly with residents to evaluate needs and services, document resident status on electronic care system.
• Oversee med techs and delegation of nurse duties to unlicensed personnel.
• Other leadership duties as needed.

As the Director of Health and Wellness they would be responsible for overall operation of the wellness department which includes assisted living and memory care services.
