Little Sisters of the Poor, St. Mary’s Home in Chicago seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in delivering high-quality resident care.

You will mentor staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead daily operations, scheduling, and quality improvement initiatives, with on-call duties every other weekend and after-hours support.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted RN license.
• Supervisory/leadership experience in long-term care.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Director of Nursing with daily operations of the Nursing Department.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
• Monitor quality of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in orientation, training, and performance management.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, and clinical oversight as needed.
• Investigate incidents and follow up on resident and family concerns.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote positive resident outcomes.
• Participate in the facility’s on-call rotation.
• Answer after-hours every other weekend calls related to nursing staffing concerns, employee call-offs, and other urgent nursing matters.
