Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to lead quality resident care, support staff, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The ADON will oversee staffing, MDS/care planning, infection control, and documentation, partnering with physicians and teams to develop individualized care plans. This full-time leadership role requires licensed RN in good standing, strong clinical judgment, and a restorative care philosophy.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed RN in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership/management experience.
• Background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support Staffing Needs: Step in to assist floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee Resident Care: Contribute to MDS, care planning, Performance Improvement, and Infection Control programs.
• Manage Nursing Staff: Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Ensure Accurate Documentation: Review and maintain up-to-date and accurate resident records.
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians, nursing teams, and consultants to design individualized care plans.
• Support Staff Resources: Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Uphold Infection Control: Conduct assessments and implement effective infection control measures.
