Job summary

Mini Cassia Care Center in Burley, Idaho seeks an Assistant Director of Nursing to lead nursing teams across units and ensure high-quality geriatric care. You will coach staff, manage performance, and oversee hiring, onboarding, and training processes.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse in Idaho with at least one year of skilled nursing experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to support a compassionate, patient-centered team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in Idaho.
• Experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting is required.
• Genuine care for geriatric residents is essential.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to manage schedules.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required.
• Flexibility and decisiveness in high-pressure situations; timely, accurate work.
• Solid basic computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training.
• Provide coaching, performance management, and discipline.
• Oversee daily nursing care delivery across all units.
• Ensure care plans are implemented and updated appropriately.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Address and resolve clinical issues such as falls, wounds, and infections.
• Help manage staffing schedules and coverage.

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and currently licensed in Idaho
• Minimum one year of successful nursing experience in a skilled nursing/long-term care facility

• Excellent communication skills, expert at working cooperatively as a member of team
