Job summary

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, FL seeks an Assistant Director of Health Services to lead the University’s Student Medical Response Team (SMRT), coordinate with key partners, and drive health-promotion initiatives for student well-being. This is a full-time, 12-month in-person role with evening/weekend coverage as needed.

The role includes supervising the Nutritionist, on-call emergency response leadership, and collaboration with Student Affairs and Campus Safety to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nutrition, or Higher Education is required.
• Current state Paramedic certification/license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership for the University’s Student Medical Response Team (SMRT).
• Coordinate with Student Affairs, Risk Management, Campus Safety, Health Services and local emergency partners.
• Develop, implement and assess a comprehensive health promotion and outreach program through Health Services.

Education
