Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least five years of experience in student finance operations.
• Experience in FERPA laws in a college/university environment.
• Experience in the utilization of financial aid software.
• Membership in CASFAA, WASFAA preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Accounting or finance experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Oversee campus Student Financial Aid Department.
• Ensure that all state, federal and non-Title IV financial aid is awarded, authorized, and disbursed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide leadership to promote accuracy and timeliness in delivering financial aid.
• Assist in setting student finance goals and objectives for the college.
• Develop programs to improve student financial aid processes and retention.
