Hilton's Casa Marina in Key West seeks an Assistant Director of Engineering to lead facility operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and guide a high-performing team. You will oversee electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life-safety systems while supporting capital projects and maintenance programs.

The role reports to the Director of Engineering and entails coordinating with government officials, managing budgets, and driving guest-focused engineering excellence at a historic luxury

Responsibilities

• Lead facility operations in safety, compliance, and building systems across electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and life safety.
• Oversee facility maintenance, inspections, and repairs of electrical, mechanical, and architectural systems.
• Direct capital projects, budgeting, bidding, and licensing/permitting with regulatory compliance in mind.
• Ensure routine maintenance requests are tracked, verified, and documented in the CMMS.
• Maintain regulatory permits, coordinate inspections, and uphold safety standards.
• Foster a high-performing team through performance management and development.
