WinStar Hotel is seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Engineering to lead a large, complex property in Thackerville, OK. Starting pay is $90K+ DOE, with a focus on directing daily engineering operations and maintaining critical systems to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/maintenance and 3+ years of supervision, with strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, boilers, plumbing and building maintenance, plus excellent communication and leadership

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a Director-level Engineering role at a medium-to-large hotel.
• Led at the Director level with experience managing complex property operations.
• 5+ years of Engineering/Maintenance experience.
• 3+ years direct maintenance supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, HVAC, boilers, mechanical, plumbing and building maintenance.
• Experience with hotel/property operations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work all shifts.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Engineering operations and team activities.
• Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs throughout the property.
• Support HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, boiler and building systems.
• Conduct property walk-throughs to identify safety, maintenance and operational concerns.
• Manage vendors, inspections and service contracts.
• Help develop budgets, forecasts and cost-effective maintenance solutions.
• Oversee energy management and preventive maintenance programs.
• Support hotel safety, security, emergency preparedness and compliance initiatives.
• Manage maintenance of the hotel's pool, grounds and exterior areas.
• Ensure work orders and maintenance requests are completed efficiently and timely.
• Hiring, training, coaching and supervising Engineering team members.
• Partner with other hotel departments to support guest and employee satisfaction.
• Investigating and resolving Engineering-related guest concerns.
• Maintaining company standards and following up on inspection deficiencies.
• Stepping in during hotel emergencies when your expertise is needed.
• Serving as an active leader on the hotel's Safety Committee.
