Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Assistant Director of Development for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to affordable homeownership and strengthening communities throughout the Houston area. This is a direct-hire, full-time, exempt, hybrid position based in Houston, TX, with three days onsite and two days remote.
The Assistant Director of Development will provide strategic and hands-on leadership for a dynamic fundraising team while driving foundation, grant, and institutional giving efforts. This position will manage a portfolio of foundation and organizational funders, cultivate significant funding opportunities, and partner with organizational leadership to develop strategies that increase revenue and donor engagement. The ideal candidate is an experienced nonprofit fundraising professional who enjoys both leading and developing a team and personally securing significant philanthropic support.
This position offers an anticipated annual salary range of $89,000–$105,000, pending final confirmation, along with the organization's comprehensive employee benefits package. The organization also offers the potential to earn a goal-based quarterly bonus; bonus eligibility and payout are not guaranteed. This is a full-time, exempt, direct-hire opportunity with a hybrid schedule of three days onsite and two days remote in Houston, TX.
