MIT's Admissions Office is seeking an Assistant Director of Admissions for Yield and Events to oversee yield programming, Campus Preview Weekend, and virtual initiatives for admitted students and their parents.
Under the direction of the Associate Director for Outreach, you will lead logistics for fall recruitment travel, coordinate information sessions, read and evaluate first-year and transfer applications, and participate in the admissions selection process across nationwide events and
Admissions Office, to oversee and manage MIT's yield programming, including both the in-person Campus Preview Weekend event and all virtual yield initiatives for admitted students and their parents. Under the direction of the Associate Director for Outreach, will oversee the logistic and programming support for Fall recruitment travel planning with specific responsibilities to manage the team, to secure venues, review final information and upload to public facing web pages; provide ancillary support to the Assistant Director for Rural Outreach on Summer/Fall programs and logistics, including attending STARS in-person events and participating in the fly-in admissions process, from reading to committee; read and evaluate first-year and transfer applications, and serve on the admissions selection committee; conduct online and on-campus information sessions, in addition to scheduling, coordinating, and presenting regional information sessions throughout the country.
