The Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for supporting all aspects of the admissions and recruitment process and serving as a welcoming, knowledgeable representative of The Linsly School.
This role includes conducting informational sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families, participating in high school visits and recruitment events, and assisting with the development and implementation of strategic recruitment initiatives. The Assistant Director of Admissions provides personalized guidance to applicants regarding admission requirements, application procedures, and financial aid opportunities, while maintaining accurate records of student interactions and application statuses through the use of Veracross.
The Assistant Director of Admissions will also have the opportunity for international travel to represent The Linsly School at recruitment events and outreach activities. Additional responsibilities include performing administrative tasks related to Admissions Department operations; meeting regularly with the Admissions Department and external organizations to coordinate activities, exchange information, and resolve issues; and providing general office support such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and maintaining calendars. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong organizational and interpersonal skills while having a commitment to diversity and inclusion in education.
