Job summary

The University of North Florida Board of Trustees' School of Nursing seeks an Assistant Director of Business Operations and Analytics for a 12‑month, tenure‑track/tenured faculty appointment. You will lead the School's operational infrastructure, including analytics, budgeting, and strategic projects, partnering with the Director and program directors to drive excellence.

Qualifications

• Earned doctoral degree in nursing (DNP/PhD or terminal nursing doctorate).
• Eligible for appointment as a tenure-track or tenured faculty member at Assistant Professor or higher.
• Current, unencumbered RN license or eligibility for Florida licensure.
• Experience in academic leadership, administration, or operational management.
• Strong analytical, organizational, financial, communication, and leadership skills.
• Preferred: MBA or higher in business/healthcare administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of operational analytics and business functions.
• Develop dashboards and KPIs to inform strategic decisions and accreditation readiness.
• Coordinate budgeting, resource management, and program scheduling with directors.
• Collaborate on accreditation processes (CCNE/AACN Essentials) and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives with faculty, staff, and university partners.
• Contribute to workforce planning, data governance, and reporting for state/federal needs.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and faculty workload planning.
