The Assistant Director, Nursing supports the Chief Nursing Officer in planning, directing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating the delivery of quality nursing care provided by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Mental Health Techs. This role assists with the management of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health nursing services to ensure safe, effective, patient-centered care in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
The Assistant Director, Nursing assists with staffing, quality assurance, regulatory readiness, staff development, and clinical operations. This position serves as a key member of the nursing leadership team and may act on behalf of the Director of Nursing in their absence, as assigned. The Assistant Director, Nursing contributes to interdisciplinary treatment planning, nursing practice improvement, and the development and implementation of departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
