Central Florida Behavioral Hospital in Orlando, FL is seeking a Mental Health Technician to provide direct care to patients in the Admissions/Assessment area. The role focuses on safety, observation, and support for children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders.

You will participate in group activities, monitor patients, secure contraband, assist with daily living skills, document in the patient record, and work night shifts Thursday to Saturday 7 PM–7 AM.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two years of experience in a psychiatric setting preferred.
CPR may be acquired after hire.
Strong oral and written communication skills and teamwork.

Hours: Night Shift - Thursday - Saturday 7 PM - 7 AM
Must be available to attend the full hospital and departmental orientations: Week 1: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM / Week 2: M & Tu 9 AM - 5 PM
