Job summary

CSU Long Beach seeks an Assistant Director to develop, coordinate, and assess the Men's Success Initiative (MSI) and the Muslim Student Resource and PSC centers.

The role designs and implements programs, services, and retention strategies to promote access, engagement, academic success, leadership development, and graduation for historically underserved communities, with emphasis on male students and Muslim/Indigenous groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with upper or graduate coursework in counseling, guidance, or related fields; three years of professional experience in student services.
• Master's degree preferred in student affairs, higher education administration, counseling, or related field.
• Three years of professional experience working with male students of color is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Men's Success Initiative (MSI) to create and implement strategies and programming for male students from under-served communities.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate programs and activities for the Muslim and PSC centers to enhance learning and student success.
• Oversee data collection, assessment, and annual reports to support program outcomes.
