Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Recreation Management, or a related field
• Five years of professional experience in membership organizations, operations management, or related fields
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing operational processes
• Experience with membership engagement strategies
• First Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogen Certifications
• Certified Pool Operations Certificate Trainings must be completed within 60 days of hire
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency with membership databases
• Knowledgeable of Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day staff operations related to member services
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff responsible for member services
• Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement, retention, and satisfaction
• Maintain management systems and provide training to staff
• Collaborate with program managers to ensure offerings meet member needs
• Contribute to cultivating a welcoming, supportive environment where individuals from all backgrounds, identities, and abilities feel valued, empowered, and able to fully participate in the University’s mission and community
