The Rutgers University Foundation seeks an Assistant Director of Data Intelligence to support marketing, engagement, and fundraising analytics. You will translate data into actionable insights to optimize campaigns and reporting, helping leaders make data-driven decisions.
Reporting to the Senior Director, you will develop dashboards, reports, and governance practices, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and drive data quality and segmentation efforts across the foundation.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Data Intelligence, the Assistant Director will support the execution of the Rutgers University Foundation’s (RUF) marketing and engagement analytics initiatives. This role plays an important part in producing accurate, timely, and actionable reporting to support data-driven decision-making across marketing, engagement, and fundraising. The Assistant Director will translate data into practical insights that help optimize campaigns, strengthen engagement activities, improve reporting, and inform day-to-day decision-making.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field; and/ou 2+ years of professional experience in marketing analytics, reporting, business intelligence, advancement, higher education, nonprofit organizations, or related fields. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM/marketing platforms and familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
This position requires clarity of focus while juggling multiple projects or deadlines with little physical effort. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines, support campaign launches, or accommodate stakeholder needs.
This is classified as an office-centric hybrid position. Colleagues working under an office-centric hybrid arrangement have a primary workstation at a University or Foundation location and are in the office between one and five days a week. The frequency with which they are present in the office depends on their role, function, and the interdependency of other functions.
