Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library science from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years of library supervisory experience across at least two departments.
• Strong knowledge of library operations, policies and services for the community.
• Excellent reading, research and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Library Branch Managers, Bookmobile, and Outreach staff.
• Lead hiring, evaluations, merit increases, disciplinary actions, and terminations as needed.
• Develop short- and long-range plans for branches and outreach programs.
• Prepare grants and reports; liaise between Library Director and department heads.
• Ensure consistent patron experience and high-quality service across branches.
