Job Description Summary

Responsible for administering all Intramural programs and special events. Assist with First-Year Learning Communities (LLC), youth programs, and club sports supervision. Involvement includes finance, marketing, staff recruitment and supervision, risk management, assessment, scheduling, and strategic departmental initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and administer all Intramural program policies and procedures.
  2. Coordinate maintenance, supervision, scheduling, and planning for Intramural programs.
  3. Maintain, coordinate, and update the use of IMleagues.
  4. Generate program reports on participation, injuries, and incidents; assist in program assessment.
  5. Provide leadership and support to IM supervisors and officials regarding decision-making, responsibility, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
  6. Assist with developing and implementing the LLC curriculum and conduct instructional workshops for students.
  7. Assist in marketing and promoting intramurals, youth, and club sports programs.
  8. Conduct annual assessments to evaluate programming effectiveness and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year of related experience in programming supervision/training and/or officiating
  • CPR & First Aid certification (within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of summer camp experience
  • Officiating or playing experience in soccer, softball, flag football, or volleyball
