Job summary

Elon University seeks an Assistant Director of Internships in the Love School of Business to enhance internship opportunities for students. You will coordinate courses, engage employers, and collaborate with campus partners to align internship experiences with academic goals.

The role reports to the Associate Dean for Faculty Development and Student Success and operates within the Porter Family Professional Development Center, supporting a broad student body and business-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs or a related discipline with experience in career development within higher education.
Preference for experience working with business students in a college setting.

Responsibilities

Meet 1:1 and in groups with students to guide internship search and secure opportunities.
Support programs and events for networking and professional development.
Conduct class presentations and workshops on internships and professional readiness.
Develop communications to students and faculty on internship trends and requirements.
Partner with the Porter Center for a multi-year career readiness pathway.
Coordinate BUS 3985/ACC 4985 internship courses across fall, spring and summer.
