Fairleigh Dickinson University is seeking an Assistant Director of Housing and Residence Life for Operations at the Florham Campus. The role manages housing assignments, occupancy, meal plans, data, and systems, reporting to the University Director of Housing and Residence Life.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a related field and 2–4 years in Housing and Residence Life, with strong analytical and collaborative skills. The position is 12-month, full-time, based on the Florham Campus.

Competenze

• Requires Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Two to four years of progressively responsible experience in Housing and Residence Life, Student Affairs, or related area.
• Demonstrated experience with housing management software StarRez and student information systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Oversee housing assignment process, occupancy management, meal plan administration, housing applications, data management and reporting.
• Lead housing management systems operations and collaborate with campus partners to ensure student-centered service delivery.
• Develop and implement housing policies and procedures; analyze occupancy trends and support enrollment planning.
