St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas invites applications for the role of Assistant Director of the HEAL Project. This grant-funded position supports operations, partnerships, and program development for Central Texas healthcare education initiatives.

The role works with the OPPS and School of Health Sciences to ensure compliant, innovative delivery of healthcare workforce credentials and learner support across programs. The position may expand with future grant years and responsibilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Education, Public Health, Curriculum and Instruction, or related areas.
• Experience managing complex educational projects or federal grants.
• Experience in project management and instructional design timelines or program milestones.
• Ability to work with workforce development boards/agencies.
• Interest in solving complex problems in Education, Healthcare, or corporate environments.
• Experience interpreting federal higher education rules, managing contracts, or dealing with state regulatory commissions.

Responsabilidades

• Regulatory Compliance & Partnerships: monitor DOE rulemaking and THECB guidelines; manage relationships with workforce partners.
• Curriculum Coordination: support instructional design, coordinate contracts and timelines with subject matter experts.
• Personnel Management: onboarding and management of Workforce Success Coach and Workforce Partnerships Specialist in future years.
• Systems Integration: ensure LMS, SIS/CRM, and learner journey are seamless.
• Project Vision: support HEAL Project's growth as a scalable OPPS framework.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Higher Education Administration, Education, Public Health, Curriculum and Instruction, or related areas

Graduate degree in related field (Higher Education Administration, Education, Public Health, Curriculum and Instruction)

Experience managing complex educational projects or federal grants

Experience in project management and instructional design timelines or program milestones

Ability to work with workforce development boards/agencies

Experience interpreting federal higher education rules, managing contracts, or dealing with state regulatory commissions
