Job summary

The University of Chicago’s Financial Mathematics Career Development Office seeks an Assistant Director to prepare graduate students for internships and full-time roles in quantitative finance. Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel students on employment opportunities and careers, liaising with employers.
• Conduct mock interviews, review resumes and cover letters, and coordinate interview-related programming.
• Support employer and alumni relations through outreach for career engagement opportunities.
• Coordinate quarterly Project Lab info sessions and communications with students, advisors, and companies.
• Plan and manage career events, including employer and student-focused activities.
