Job summary

The Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association (WFAA) seeks an Assistant Director, Fund Administration and Compliance to lead fund administration activities across the fund lifecycle and support governance, policy, and compliance programs. You will collaborate with Finance, Development, Legal, and campus partners to ensure donor-restricted funds reflect donor intent and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in donor-restricted fund administration or related discipline.
• Experience interpreting governing documents and applying donor intent.
• Experience with compliance, governance, or financial operations in a nonprofit context.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund administration activities across the full fund lifecycle, including establishment, modifications, reinvestments, and closures.
• Interpret gift agreements and other governing documents to ensure proper fund structures and administration.
• Collaborate with Finance, Development, Legal, and campus partners to ensure donor-restricted funds comply with policies and regulations.
• Support fund governance processes, analytics, and reporting to inform decision-making.
