Job summary

Wisconsin Foundation and Alumni Association seeks an Assistant Director, Fund Administration and Compliance to lead fund administration activities from establishment to closure and to support governance, policy implementation, and compliance initiatives. The role collaborates with Finance, Legal, and campus partners to ensure donor-restricted funds are managed per donor intent and regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in donor-restricted fund administration across the fund lifecycle.
• Ability to interpret governing documents and apply donor intent.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead fund administration across the full fund lifecycle and governance actions.
• Interpret gift agreements and other governing documents in collaboration with Legal Affairs.
• Apply donor intent and regulatory requirements to fund activities.
• Support fund management policies, procedures, and standards development.
• Identify process improvements to strengthen governance and compliance.
