Job summary

Northeastern University’s Center for Student Involvement seeks an Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life to build infrastructure supporting a healthy and meaningful Greek life on the Boston campus. You will supervise staff, advise the governing councils, and lead hazing prevention, education, and wellness initiatives for 40+ fraternities/sororities and 3,750+ students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of full-time experience in fraternity and sorority life advising, health promotion or wellness, or related areas.
• Awareness of trends and issues affecting fraternities/sororities at inter/national level.
• Ability to apply best practices in FSL advising to strengthen the community.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global university environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise governing councils and chapters on goals to advance wellness and sustainability.
• Supervise and evaluate the FSL Specialist and practicum staff.
• Lead educational and wellness initiatives (e.g., FSL Discovery, RISE, Scout) and prevention programs.
• Oversee hazing prevention, policy revisions, and investigative processes.
• Manage FSL communications, newsletters, social media, and website content.
• Represent CSI on divisional committees and campus events.
