Job summary

Northeastern University in Boston seeks an Assistant Director for Fraternity & Sorority Life to build the infrastructure for a healthy Greek life experience. You will lead safety, wellness, and leadership initiatives for 40+ fraternities/sororities and 3,750+ students, guiding councils and supervising staff within CSI.

Responsibilities include risk guidance, educational programming, communications leadership, and collaboration with OSCCR on misconduct and sanctions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1–3 years’ full-time experience in fraternity/sorority life advising or related areas.
• Awareness of inter/national trends affecting fraternal life.
• Ability to apply industry best practices in advising.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global university environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and communication skills.
• Align work with the Division of Student Life mission and literacies.

Responsibilities

• Advise and support FSL governance councils and chapters on goals and wellness.
• Provide event planning and risk guidance for on- and off-campus events.
• Lead and supervise FSL staff and practicum/graduate students.
• Develop and deliver educational programming for members.
• Lead hazing prevention and organizational accountability efforts.
• Coordinate communications, newsletters, social media, and website.
