The Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life isresponsible for supporting fraternity and sorority students in thedevelopment of strategic, community-wide initiatives and thestrengthening of chapter infrastructure to advance the missions ofboth their respective organizations and Northern KentuckyUniversity.
This position oversees all programmatic and policy-relatedfunctions within the fraternity and sorority community. The roleprovides leadership, professional development, and supervision forthe Fraternity and Sorority Life
program, while collaborating closely with campus partners acrossStudent Engagement, including but not limited to the Student Union,Campus Recreation, University Housing, and the Scripps HowardCenter for Civic
Engagement.
The Assistant Director also works in partnership with the Office ofStudent Conduct to address chapter-level conduct matters as well asindividual student concerns. Additionally, this position serves asthe primary advisor to the Panhellenic Council, InterfraternityCouncil, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and/or the MulticulturalGreek Council, and directly supervises the Fraternity and SororityLife Graduate Assistant.
Master's degree and 2 years of related experience required.Graduate or professional experience in fraternity and sororityadvising, student organization
advising, program/event planning, leadership developmentprogramming is preferred
Must possess strong computer competence, including but not limitedto word, excel, and social
media and marketing mediums. Experience planning and executinglarge-scale events
This person will work both inside and outside depending about theprograms and events. They may need to move boxes, tables, chairs,trash cans, tents, etc up to 50lbs.
They could be on their feet for an extended period of time. Validdriver license required, ability to drive, comfortable with drivinga minivan.
