The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Director for Compliance Services.
This individual will report directly to the Senior Associate AD for Governance and Regulatory Affairs. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: serve as main compliance office contact for select varsity sport(s); serve as the main liaison with Residential Life and Dining Services, oversee personnel, outside competition, student-athlete employment, and assist in financial aid, initial-eligibility evaluations, and numerous areas of overall monitoring (with an emphasis on Bylaw 16 including settlement related benefits); serve as a resource for student-athletes, coaches, staff members and the university community regarding NCAA rules, and provide interpretations related to all NCAA bylaws; submit NCAA and conference waivers, and reinstatement cases for applicable assigned sports; and provide game day support for various sporting events.
The hiring range for this position is $53,949 to $60,000. An offer of employment, if made, will be commensurate with the successful candidate’s skill and experience, as determined by the University.
