Student Financial Services seeks an Assistant Director for Awarding. This position will help Boston University Student Financial Services achieve Boston University's goals for recruitment, retention, and superior service by assisting students and parents in financing their education through financial analysis, planning, and advisement for students on the medical campus. This Assistant Director ensures a timely and accurate review of financial aid applications, evaluate student eligibility for financial assistance using both federal and institutional methodology, award financial aid funds, and provide counseling to students and families. Additionally, this position will conduct loan entrance and exit counseling, debt management, and personal budget advising to students. The Assistant Director for Awarding works closely various offices within the School of Medicine, Graduate Medical Science, School of Dental Medicine, and School of Public Health. Additionally, the position will work closely with Student Accounting Services, and the Office of Financial Assistance.
