Job summary

Harvard University’s Mignone Center for Career Success seeks an experienced Employer Engagement professional to expand relationships with employers serving Harvard College, Griffin Graduate School, and Extension School. You will lead outreach and manage Crimson Careers and other platforms.

Graduate degree preferred; five-plus years in employer relations and a strong track record in coordinating career events, communications, and data reporting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience in employer relations, preferably within a university career services environment.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Strong outreach, relationship-building, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with students, faculty, administrators, staff, alumni, and external partners.
• Demonstrated success meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
• Experience developing, implementing, and managing complex administrative processes.
• Proficiency with database management systems, CRM platforms, and recruiting software.
• Strong supervisory and team leadership skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and occasional hours outside the standard workday.
• Collaborative, service-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead employer outreach efforts to ensure robust employer engagement across desired industry areas with opportunities for multiple student populations.
• Follow entry-level hiring trends, including maintaining information on top internship and early talent programs, and communicate with leadership team and relevant advising units.
• Draft and curate employer-related content for regular newsletters, uConnect website, and social media.
• Track and communicate success metrics. Provide data and analysis for regular and ad hoc reporting.
• Support the Employer Engagement Team in all functions of employer relations and engagement, including career fairs, presentations, interviews.
• Develop and offer a menu of revenue-generating options for employers to engage on campus, monitoring employment trends and soliciting employer feedback.
• Supervise 2.0 FTEs, Staff Assistant and Coordinator, as well as temporary staff and student workers.
• Oversee Crimson Careers, the MCS Symplicity Career Services Management software platform that is central to all operations.
• Oversee MCS use and adoption of additional vendor technologies and resources, including uConnect, 12Twenty, Interstride, Big Interview, Skills Discovery, and Firsthand Advisors.
• Participate in full range of office-wide events including employer visits, career fairs, open houses, professional development workshops and university-wide meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
