Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director to ensure safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director takes sole responsibility for the school and supports growth and development of children.

The role requires leadership in a licensed childcare setting, guidance of staff, and adherence to state licensing standards. Competitive benefits and supportive training accompany this position.

Formación

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• Associate degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or 64 semester hours with 21 hours in relevant fields.
• Must meet Illinois administrative course/training requirements.

• Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children.
• Lead, recruit, select and retain quality staff.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
