The Goddard School of Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a motivated Assistant Director to help oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of education and care, and support the School Director in staff management and licensing compliance.

You will engage families and the community, contribute to curriculum implementation, and foster a positive, safe learning environment that supports young children’s development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in early childhood education or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience teaching in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of child development, best practices, and classroom management.
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine love for children and commitment to high-quality education.
• Must pass state background checks and meet state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Administrative Support: Assist in day-to-day operations of the School.
• Staff Management: Support recruitment, training, development and supervision of staff.
• Curriculum and Program Development: Assist in implementing Wonder of Learning program to spark curiosity and growth.
• Family and Community Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families.
• Health and Safety: Conduct safety drills and ensure licensing regulations for a secure environment.
