The Nurturing Nook, Inc. in Milwaukee is seeking an Assistant Director. This is a self-motivated, energetic leader in training who loves early childhood education.

Qualified candidates have Level 12+ on the ECE WI Registry and experience as a Lead Teacher in a licensed childcare setting. Managerial experience is preferred, with an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in ECE. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, with compensation $20–$24/hour, depending on education and experience.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 12+ on the ECE WI Registry.
• Experience working in a licensed childcare facility as a Lead Teacher.
• Managerial/leadership experience preferred in a childcare center.
• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in ECE required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director with developing and executing an ongoing program of activities for children and staff.
• Assist with enrollment activities, tours, and distributing marketing materials to potential families.
• Ensure compliance with State and Company Regulations via Licensing Checks.
• Guide teachers on curriculum, lesson plans, and classroom organization.
• Establish professional relationships with parents and employees.
