Job summary

Learning Care Group in Wisconsin is hiring an Assistant Director to help run a safe, engaging early childhood program under the supervision of the School Director. In the Director’s absence, you’ll assume full responsibility for daily operations and for ensuring high-quality care and education.

You will recruit and develop staff, uphold licensing standards, and foster a positive, inclusive environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• In the Director’s absence, assume sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff.
