The Disability Resource Center (DRC) Assistant Director provides enterprise-wide leadership for disability access, outreach, engagement, and programming across UCSF Campus and UCSF Health. The incumbent serves as a strategic consultant and liaison to campus and health system partners, community stakeholders, and individuals with disabilities to identify barriers, develop and implement solutions, and advance institutional awareness of disability and accessibility.
Key responsibilities include the design and delivery of training programs, facilitation of educational initiatives and dialogue, and the development of outreach strategies that promote accessibility and inclusion. The role requires collaboration across multiple constituencies and providing high‑level customer service to support the UCSF disability community and its allies.
This position operates within a framework of anti‑discrimination, equity, and compliance with applicable policies and regulations, and contributes to advancing a culture of belonging and access across the enterprise.
The DRC Assistant Director reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Climate and Belonging. They also have a dotted line to the ADA/504 Compliance Officer related to training support.
