The Manorcrest Preparatory School is a boutique early learning academy committed to reimagining early childhood education through intentional teaching, thoughtfully designed learning environments, and a strong focus on the whole child.

Serving children from infancy through Private Pre-K, Manorcrest is seeking an experienced Assistant Director | Curriculum & Instruction to support the day-to-day leadership of the school while helping strengthen curriculum implementation, teacher development, and instructional quality. This is an opportunity for an exceptional early childhood educator and leader to help shape a distinctive school culture where teachers are supported, children are appropriately challenged, and learning is purposeful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with the School Director to support daily operations, staffing, classroom coverage, and overall program quality.
• Lead and monitor the implementation of Manorcrest's curriculum across classrooms, including lesson-plan review, classroom observations, and instructional feedback.
• Coach and mentor teachers in classroom management, instructional practices, child engagement, and ongoing professional growth.
• Help ensure curriculum and classroom practices are developmentally appropriate, aligned with Georgia early learning standards, and responsive to children's learning needs.
• Support family communication, tours, enrollment activities, and compliance with Georgia childcare licensing requirements and school policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field.
• Significant experience in early childhood education.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or administrative experience in an early learning environment.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting teachers.
• Experience implementing or supporting early childhood curriculum.
• Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and multitasking skills.

PREFERRED

• Previous experience as an Assistant Director, Curriculum Coordinator, Education Coordinator, Lead Teacher, Instructional Coach, or similar early childhood leadership role.
• Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing requirements and early learning standards.
• Experience working with multiple age groups from infancy through Pre-K.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
