CSU Long Beach invites applications for the Assistant Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. This role develops and manages a portfolio of corporate and private foundation prospects to secure philanthropic support for university priorities.

You will collaborate with university leadership, faculty, and staff to identify funding opportunities, develop competitive proposals, cultivate and steward relationships, and advance fundraising initiatives that strengthen CSULB’s mission.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of related experience required.
• Experience in higher education preferred.
• The incumbent will travel off campus and may work evenings/weekends.

Responsabilités

• Build and independently manage a portfolio of corporate and foundation prospects, driving all phases of the development life cycle and renewals.
• Collaborate with faculty and campus partners to research, write, coordinate, and submit grant applications and letters of inquiry, including entry- to mid-level awards.
• Lead prospect cultivation and stewardship activities, including campus visits, meetings, and production of impact reports and communications.
