The position oversees professional development for over 5,000 students and fosters partnerships with tech employers, recruiters, and alumni to expand internship and job opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Psychology, Counseling, Higher Education, Human Resources or related field.
• Five to seven years of job related experience.
• Masters Degree in Business, Psychology, Counseling, Higher Education, Human Resources or related field.
• Experience building relationships with tech employers, recruiters, and alumni to support internship and job opportunities.
• Understanding internship and early career recruiting timelines for major tech companies.
• Experience using employment outcomes, internship data, and labor market insights to inform advising and programming.
• Experience developing workshops, career courses, or programs tailored to students pursuing tech careers.
• Demonstrated ability to coach students through career exploration, decision-making, and professional identity development.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty, advisors, and industry partners to align career preparation with academic programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building relationships and communities with the colleges, employers, students, parents, and alumni, as well as to ensure connections across Career Education/Outreach, Employer Relations, and Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional Advising.
• Work with Corporate Development and with the school via the career communities to coordinate employer requests to connect them across campus for branding purposes, interactions with students and faculty, etc.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of highly effective, integrated career and employment services in support of the mission and goals of the institute.
• Provide data about employer trends, career readiness, and assist with school requests for Careerbuzz/Handshake information.
• Expand and maintain the Employer Relations Network.
• Interact with employers for general recruiting and targeted programming.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of employer events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
