Job summary

Georgia Tech seeks a Director of Graduate Advising Operations and Engagement to oversee strategic planning and operational management of graduate advising services. The role leads advising technology platforms and aligns practices with institutional goals for student success.

The position reports to executive leadership and requires building buy‑in across colleges, schools, and support resources, including training and development programs for advisors.

Qualifications

• Open rank announcement; final offer at Academic Professional or Senior Academic Professional level.
• Experience leading academic advising roles and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with EAB Navigate360 preferred; ability to train and support advisors and administrators.
• Ability to set operational goals from strategic plans and lead teams to achieve them.

Responsibilities

• Establish new and maintain existing advising tools, procedures, and resources.
• Lead Navigate360 training and serve as subject matter expert.
• Collaborate with OGE, Registrar, Dean of Students to align policies and processes.
• Develop assessment tools and annual reports to improve graduate advising practices.
• Manage data analytics to monitor student progress and inform decisions.
