Job summary

The University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences is seeking an IT Assistant Director, Application Development and Integration to provide technical leadership for our application and integration services.

You will guide a team of staff and contractors, drive SDLC governance, and ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions aligned with university priorities. You will collaborate with IT leadership and cross-functional partners to address technology challenges, improve processes, and deliver

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience leading application development/integration teams.
Experience in higher education IT and Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of application development and integration staff and contractors.
Oversee SDLC, deployments, testing, documentation, and security practices.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance against SLAs.
Define development standards, CI/CD pipelines, and code management practices.
Collaborate with IT leadership and business units to align technology with strategy.
Identify and remediate reliability, performance, and security issues.
