Job summary

Michigan State University seeks an Assistant Director of Annual Giving and Operations to join the Student Success Development team. The role focuses on increasing philanthropic support and managing campaigns and operations to support reporting and data management.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the position supervises the Development Assistant and works with University Advancement teams to implement effective annual giving strategies. Some evenings and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree in communications, public relations, marketing or business.
• One to three years of related fundraising or development experience.
• Experience in higher education fundraising is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage an annual giving and membership plan.
• Create digital annual giving campaigns to acquire donors.
• Use data and reporting to improve strategies and donor prospects.
• Collaborate with central data teams for accurate fund accounting.
