The Learning Experience - South Windsor, CT is seeking an Assistant Director to join our fast-growing early education team. You will support the Center Director in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years leadership experience in childcare settings.
• Early childhood education experience required.
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state licensing regulations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Center Director in daily center operations.
• Lead by example, fostering a positive culture built on teamwork and excellence in early childhood education.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and retaining high-quality teaching staff.
• Help ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
• Partner with teachers to implement our proprietary curriculum and promote developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Build positive relationships with families through effective communication, tours, and enrollment support.
• Support administrative responsibilities, including scheduling, attendance tracking, enrollment management, and general office operations.
• Assist with community outreach and marketing initiatives to increase enrollment and strengthen community partnerships.

As an Assistant Director at The Learning Experience, You Will:

• Have at least 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting.
• Have early childhood education experience (required).
• Hold an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
• Possess excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Are passionate about supporting children, families, and educators in a high-quality learning environment.
