Job summary

Learning Care Group's La Petite Academy is seeking an Assistant Director to help manage a licensed childcare school, ensuring safe, effective operation and alignment with safety vision. You will support the School Director and contribute to the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children every day.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and a positive, engaging environment for families, with ongoing training and opportunities within the Master Teacher Program.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have leadership experience and at least 1 year in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education at our center.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director.
• Assist in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
• Foster an educational, caring, safe environment for children and parents.
• Recruit, select, and retain quality staff and ensure licensing standards are met.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.
