Job summary

Learning Care Group is hiring an Assistant Director in Michigan to help operate the school safely and effectively alongside the School Director. The role includes promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children and ensuring compliance with licensing standards.

The Assistant Director shares responsibility in the Director’s absence and contributes to a positive, supportive environment for families and staff. We offer opportunities for growth and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision.
• In the Director’s absence, assumes sole responsibility for the school.
• Supports social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.
