La Petite Academy in Bloomington, IL is seeking an Assistant Director to help run the school under the guidance of the School Director. This role supports the social, physical and intellectual development of children and ensures licensing standards are met.

Responsibilities include promoting a positive environment, recruiting and retaining staff, and driving profitability for the center while providing a safe and engaging place for families.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
• Assistant Director: $22-$23 an hour.
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers.
• Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees.
