Job summary

Learning Care Group in Bloomington, IL is seeking an Assistant Director to help run a licensed childcare program with safety and quality at the forefront. You will work with the School Director, lead staff, and support families while fostering a nurturing learning environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of children, ensuring licensing standards are met, and providing a positive, professional workplace for the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have previous leadership experience and at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, effective operation of the school in partnership with the School Director and in the Director’s absence take sole responsibility for the school.
• Assist in promoting social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children.

The Assistant Director is responsible for the safe, effective operation of the school with the School Director, to achieve Learning Care Group’s safety vision. In the Director’s absence, the Assistant Director has sole responsibility for the school. The Assistant Director assists in the promotion of the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children

Job Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation based on Position, Education and Experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options.
• Assistant Director: $22-$23 an hour
• Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) provided for full-time employees, Limited medical offered for part-time workers
