We are seeking an individual who is eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers in a dynamic office environment on engaging and challenging projects. Projects with our Urban Mobility & Design Team involve varying types of roadway and intersection designs with a focus on multi-modal urban complete street projects, including providing accommodations for pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, motorists, and meeting accessibility requirements. Base pay range: $79,000.00/yr - $87,000.00/yr

What You'll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

  • Prepare construction plans, specifications, and estimates for transportation projects for public agencies and municipalities, with a focus on multi‑modal designs and safety & accessibility improvements
  • Assist in roadway design including roadway alignments, including Civil 3D Corridor modeling, horizontal and vertical alignments, cross‑sections, grading, drainage design, and utility relocations
  • Utilize construction understanding to develop temporary traffic control and construction staging plans

What You Bring to the Table (Qualifications):

  • BS in Civil Engineering
  • Proficiency using Autodesk Civil 3D software
  • Experience with New England public agency clients, particularly MassDOT and City of Boston
