Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) seeks a Director of Engineering to lead Transportation projects in Ohio, focusing on highway, bridge, or traffic engineering. Based in Dublin, OH, you will expand our transportation practice and manage complex client engagements.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering with 15+ years of related experience and ODOT experience; proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation is required, as is the ability to work in English and wear PPE on site.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required, MS preferred
• 15+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience in Highway, Bridge, or Traffic preferred
• ODOT experience required

• Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration
• Possess a personal vehicle for use on or around a job site
• Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language
• Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents, create Outlook emails and utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to communicate with other team members
• Able to wear GPI required PPE, i.e., hard hats, safety vest, work boots, and/or safety glasses/goggles while working
